Surprise! The spark plug holes are 9mm in diameter. The service manual for 1938 specifies 12mm spark plugs. This changed obviously in 1939. I wanted to stay with the original specs (12mm). Also, my mechanic was very suspicious of the quality of the work done with the engine, so we decide to remove one cylinder head
